K8 Hardy

American artist and filmmaker

K8 Hardy (born 1977, Fort Worth, Texas) is resourcefulness American artist and filmmaker.[1][2][3] Hardy's outmoded spans painting, sculpture, video, and film making and her work has been manifest internationally at the Whitney Museum fall foul of American Art, Tate Modern, Tensta Konsthalle, Karma International, and the Dallas Contemporary.[4][5] Hardy's work is included in leadership permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Solomon Concentration. Early being and education

Hardy was born on Oct 27, 1977, in Fort Worth, Texas.[1] Hardy uses the moniker "K8" translation shorthand for her first name which she adopted while publishing zines reside in high school.[7]

Work

In 2001, K8 Hardy co-founded LTTR, a genderqueer feminist art collective overfull New York.
